I recently had the opportunity to get an new iron. I was pretty excited when my iron died. I wasn't loving my old iron. In fact I really disliked ironing with it. But there was no reason to buy a new one when the old one still worked. So when it died and my handy husband called the time of death, I was pretty thrilled with the idea of getting a new one. The features I was most interested in were:
- Steam - amount and where it came out
- heat settings
- long cord
- Auto shut off
And lastly I wanted an iron that was going to last a while.
So I researched for a couple days and decided that a Rowenta Iron was the way to go. Then I shopped around.
I found Kohls carried Rowenta and I had 10bucks in Kohls cash + 30% OFF. The Pro master was originally $119 and on sale for $89. So I paid $50 for it. That is a deal right there.
Here is what it has to offer
Variable Steam: Allows iron to be used with no, little or lots of steam Perfect!
Auto-Off:  Turns the iron off in 8 minutes if vertical and 30 seconds if horizontal or tipped over Exactly what I wanted!
Vertical Steam: allows to remove wrinkles from drapes and hanging garments I didn't know I wanted this but now I am so glad I have it.
Extra Long Burst of Steam: provides a long lasting, extra burst of steam which allows you to steam more efficiently and easily Yeah!
Comfort Handle: 100% covered soft touch handle provides comfort and a non-stick grip for precision ironing
Large Soft-Touch Rear:  provides extra stability when iron is on its heel
Large Water Tank with Covered Filling Inlet: holds 12.7 ounces Fantastic
Microsteam400 Stainless Steel Soleplate:  provides a smooth surface with excellent glide; 400 microsteam holes provide perfect steam distribution and high precision tip delivers steam to hard-to-reach areas And this is my favorite part! It is amazing how many holes it has. And the precision tip is awesome to say the least.
So I have had this iron a little over a month and have iron approx. 30 shirts and about 10 pants. It heats up pretty quickly and the steam makes a world of difference. Finally I like to iron again.
